Aiming to strengthen its role and reach in the Asian power electronics market,PCIM Asia to return as PCIM Asia Shanghai in 2025.
Next edition, PCIM Asia Shanghai – International Exhibition and Conference for Power Electronics, Intelligent Motion, Renewable Energy and Energy Management, to be held from 24 – 26 September 2025 in halls N4 and N5 of the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
PCIM Asia – International Exhibition and Conference for Power Electronics, Intelligent Motion, Renewable Energy and Energy Management is a leading event for the power electronics, intelligent motion, renewable energy and energy management sectors in Asia. With a focus on the East and South China power electronics markets, its annual exhibition and conference brings together experts and industry professionals from across China, the wider Asian region, and around the world. To more clearly emphasise its regional identity and reinforce its position as Asia’s premier exhibition and conference for the industry, the event will begin incorporating the host city’s name into its title from 2025 onward. It will continue to alternate between Shenzhen and Shanghai.

The event showcases products and technologies across the entire power electronics supply chain, from materials and packaging, to testing, modules, devices and equipment. The updated event name, which now combines the PCIM brand name with the host city, is designed to improve recognition and memorability, enabling more targeted market positioning and strengthening its competitive standing. The adjustment will allow it to draw in more professionals from the local and Asian markets, building on the economic and industrial significance of Shanghai and Shenzhen to expand its influence in the power electronics, intelligent motion, renewable energy and energy management sectors throughout Asia and worldwide.
In addition, through its combined exhibition and conference format, the event serves as a key platform for academic discussion, encouraging collaboration between industry, academia and research.
